Enamel Adventures are...
  • exploring and discovering what is possible.
  • discussions about what variables may be creating your results.
  • MORE results instead of GOOD results.
  • opportunities to let go of your fears.
  • embracing the unknown.
  • often uncomfortable.
Many Classes are often...
  • places to find the right way.
  • tell you the right answer.
  • showing you how to make a project that you will like.
  • show you how to be perfect.
  • giving you the right steps.
  • want you to always feel comfortable.

Get MESSY with Ricky

Enamel Adventures encourage you to just start and "get messy" because you are just learning!

We often learn best when we give ourselves permission to fail!

Will it work? Yes, everything works. You will get a result that you may or may not like or want.

The way to learn something on a deep level is to try it and see what happens.

You do not need to LIKE everything that you make ; you will often learn much more by making something that you don't like. In fact, you may not even know what you like or want until you make something that you don't like or want.

Just start somewhere.

"Ricky stresses the importance of learning to play and asking "what if" questions to experiment and learn. Once I let go of the idea that every piece I made had to be perfect or amazing, I could really enjoy it and learn to like even a small section of a piece where I got an interesting effect or result, even if my wirework turned out a bit funky."
